Charlie Ponger:

All right, everyone. Hey,

Charlie & Debbie:

welcome, officials, Seenagers I with Debbie Nigro, and Luz Michelle. I'm Charlie Ponger and today we're talking about wisdom. Wisdom. Yes. Because as time goes on, people assume if you've lived more, you know more like I tell my little granddaughter who's head his bigger here

Charlie, Debbie, Luz:

when making decisions that's not good. Who's looked at my head who's had it figured? If so, the thing that some people are just better at giving advice than others, but sometimes you never know who those people are until you see it in print. And what is this Luz Michelle that I'm holding? Yeah, this is so cool. It says Dear Luz, dear John crossed out and then Luz's name next to it and what magazine is this is Katana Connect very beautiful magazine from the area here really glossy and high end. And it Luz has a two page spread of where people's write letters do Luz. And she writes back to them her opinion and advice and I'm just going to just tell you what it says at the title says after Blues Traveler guitar is Chandler Kintla gave such wonderful advice. John quit in protest. So for this issue, we asked local comedian Luiz Michelle to weigh in Now You must how do we have I read the letter and you give the answer and then Charlie reads the letter and you give the answer because there's are so good.

Charlie & Debbie:

paraphrase him though because you know there otherwise we gotta slow down cowboy. Picture this Charlie, there go..

Charlie, Debbie, Luz:

are holding a magazine. There you go. Wondering what Louise has to say about this dear Luz? I think we have. We all have one of these in our family. The crazy aunt or uncle who always gets drunk and makes a scene in our families. My cousin. She's such a great friend but I dread our holiday get togethers because she becomes loud insulting tells inappropriate stories in front of the kids. How do I approach her about this without ruining our friendship? Loving cousin and Luz response? Can you remember that? Or do you have to read it now? I definitely have to read it.

Luz Michelle:

The second one second one. Okay, here we go. Oh, yeah, this is your advisement. And this one. I said, Dear loving your cousin. Sounds like a lot of fun. Please let me know next time she's in town. I think we're kindred spirits. Regarding your concerns, take some deep breaths. And remember that we all need that person in our lives who can remind us to let go and have fine. I think we're all I think we are all a bit a little too tight. We're all wound up a little too tight these days. And those carefree spirits. And they're oh my god, I can't read it. I haven't good. I want to reveal in the joys of life and family

charlie luz debbie:

standing up. It's really great. How many are there? There's four of us four or five? Oh, my glasses. Oh my gosh, everybody needs to see it's remarkable that I used to have 2010 vision. Yeah, it was like you you really can see that. I'm like Yeah, well, you should have seen me the eye exam this morning. Before I came here. They're like okay, the eye we just fixed for you. What do you think about this? Because last time I was there, I was like crying I was failing the test. I couldn't read any letters. I was like

Debbie Nigro:

GP PQ.

debbie nigro:

A friggin high five. All right.

Charlie Ponger:

I think we all have one of those in our family. The craziness. Oh wait, you did that one.

debbie nigro:

Only four to choose from

Luz Michelle:

25

Debbie & Charlie:

Your try these glasses.

Charlie Ponger:

Let me see which one was your favorite lose? You ready? Inner family I'm changing. I'm in charge of Thanksgiving. I love hosting everyone. But I have this uncle who's always overstayed his welcome. So what did you say to that?

Luz Michelle:

My glasses Alright, so it was right here. Here we are here. Yeah, I got it. I said Dear exhausted. Yeah, girl. We all been there. This for me, I would send invitations with a clear Start Time and End Time. And maybe your uncle's invitation should include a disclaimer that after 7pm There will be a late checkout fee 45 dollars you will go from exhausted hostess to the hostess with the most this in no time.

Debbie Nigro:

I love it. We gotta post these on. I'm gonna put the whole command in there also good. Okay, dear lose. What can what can I do with their old COVID-19 masks? I was thinking of making them into holiday gifts for friends, maybe wreaths. Or perhaps I can use them to wrap fruitcakes. Obviously, I'll wash them first and the other ideas signed reusing and recycling

Luz Michelle:

Dear Reusing. Good for you for tapping into Your creative energy and find ways to make our world a better place. But in this case, Mama burn them. Think about it. How would you like a Christmas read made out of my kids used underwear? Oh, burn those old masks and let's spend the holidays not handing out extra reminders of the pandemic's wrath. Yeah, baby Good Vibes only. Right. Thank you. I think you're gonna be the wisest girl in town, and people can be clamoring for you ice. Why is this 42 years?

Debbie Nigro:

When you were growing up, did you read like Dear Abby, or mainlanders or any advice columns? And like I said, I did too. I was like, I love them. Right? How about you, Charlie? Any any advice? Columns? No. Obviously.

Debbie Luz:

Didn't didn't you love reading and waiting for the answer? And like, like they're supposed to do, right. I always found it interesting that they don't know this person. And they're so like, what are they going to say? And maybe you are, right, yeah. What did they say? What would you do? What would you how would you respond? Yeah. Now also, you know, advice comes in different forms. Right. Do you read horoscopes? No, you? I do I do a minute, though. But yeah, so I read one this week is about a lunar eclipse that was coming. And it was like, Oh, watch out. Oh, Tom. Oh, Tom.

Debbie Nigro:

Price. So think about Horoscopes. And I think you all agree, if it's a good horoscope, and it says, everything's gonna go great, you're gonna win the lottery come into great fortune, love, your house will be clean every day. You believe it? If they say you're gonna come into a difficult phase, you're gonna trip on a tree like, I don't believe this shit.

Charlie Ponger:

Right. And you know, the whole if you read those things, right? The reason why I don't read them is because I, when I did read them, they're all the same. They're just different words. And every but every almost seems like everybody's the same. No, I don't know how deep the things. Although someone did do ask me for my birthday. My where I was born, what time I was born. And then they sent me this chart about myself. And it's like this outline of the human body and it shows all these, like your brain, your liver, your spleen, and all this sort of stuff. And I'm looking at this going.

Debbie Nigro:

And new numbers next to it. That was a medical report.

Luz Michelle:

I don't know what just happened!

Debbie Nigro:

was a horror scope. It was

Luz Michelle:

really down Luz goes I don't know what just happened. I fell asleep. Oh, my God.

Debbie Luz:

You really Hello, welcome back.

Luz Michelle:

You would like Dr. Bob. Ridiculous.

Charlie Ponger:

I love him. But

Debbie Nigro:

you wonder where people get the inspiration to do what they do for a living. You know, an ophthalmologist? Where did that come from? A teddy bear with eyeballs. I mean, when I fell off a teddy bear, and he said I'm gonna fix it.

debbie luz:

I want to be Luz. Who did you take advice from when you were younger? Like who did you trust with advice? Because I trusted my grandmother. My mother's mother, grandma Lillian, Grandma Lillian. She's the only one who ever had my back. You know, I feel it right. Yeah. Charlie, who do you trust advice, wise, wisdom.

Charlie Debbie:

My ex father in law and Jack Trout from you know, who was a famous marketing guy? Yeah. And my coach, Coach Smith baseball coach. Wow, that's great. I trusted and Eleanor. Yeah. Aunt Elena. Yeah, she was great. She was my boss. When I was nine till I was 19. She worked in she ran the the, the, you know, office at Niagara Brothers Construction. Oh, she was the only female in a hotbed of male testosterone crazy stuff going on? Yeah. And I always you know, she always had my back and I always had hers I just loved Aunt Elena. Miss her terrible. So we a lot about life and business. Yeah, yeah. And about gambling too. She got

Debbie Charlie:

a limo to Atlantic City. Boy. I know. You know, that whole Nigro thing? Right? Everybody loves to gamble, huh? Yeah, well, they played poker. Poker, I don't even know her? like 30 hours a day. Now.

Debbie Nigro:

I love the story I tell about my mother when I look back, and my mother was obviously a wonderful woman. Yeah. And she was very, you know, straight arrows. Everything was perfect house perfect is perfect. She loved playing poker. And whenever she got a chance, and we were growing up, she'd be like, going to poker game with the ants in the cousins. So I call her because I was called my mother. I go and she goes, Oh, I can't talk right now. I go. Are you in surgery? When she got which meant, are you in the middle of the hand? You go yes. I'll call you right back. Okay, by this limb. Let me remove his liver. Okay, I'll be right back. Alright, see you later bye. That was it.
